Rental Requirements
- Valid driver’s licenceBC Class 5 or equivalent. International visitors need a valid foreign licence and passport, plus an International Driving Permit if required by their country.
- Valid credit cardA major credit card in the primary driver’s name is required for the security deposit.
- Minimum ageStandard rentals are available from age 21. Drivers aged 21–24 may pay a young-driver fee; full-size SUVs and passenger vans require drivers aged 25+.
- Driving experienceAt least one full year of licensed driving experience is required.

CNR accepts major debit and credit cards. A valid credit card in the primary renter’s name is required for the security deposit.
Can someone else drive the rental?
Yes. Every driver must be added to the agreement and present a valid licence. A spouse is added at no charge; other drivers may incur a daily fee.
How does YVR airport service work?
CNR coordinates the confirmed pick-up or drop-off arrangement near YVR. Follow the meeting point and timing in the instructions sent for your booking.
Can I drive outside British Columbia?
Travel into Alberta or the United States is permitted when arranged in advance. Additional insurance charges may apply.
