Rental Requirements

  1. Valid driver’s license. BC Class 5 or equivalent. International visitors can use a valid foreign license plus passport (plus an International Driving Permit if their country requires one).
  2. Valid credit card. Major credit card in the primary driver’s name for the security deposit.
  3. Minimum age. Standard rentals from 21+. Drivers 21–24 may be subject to a young driver fee. Full-size SUVs and passenger vans require drivers 25+.
  4. Driving experience. At least one full year of licensed driving.

Can I pay with cash or debit?

We accept major debit and credit cards. A valid credit card in the primary renter’s name is required for the security deposit.

Can someone else drive the rental?

Yes — additional drivers can be added to the rental agreement. All drivers must present a valid driver’s license. Spouses are added at no charge; other drivers may incur a small daily fee.

How does YVR airport delivery work?

Instead of waiting at a rental counter, we coordinate vehicle delivery near the airport terminal. Detailed pickup instructions are in our arrival guide.

Can I drive outside British Columbia?

Yes. Travel into Alberta or the United States is allowed when arranged in advance. Additional insurance charges may apply.
